Year 8 Science: Cell Model Assignment

Year 8 students brought cell biology to life through their Science Cell Model assignment.

The assessment combines a 50% 3D model of an animal or plant cell with a 50% written component.

Together, these demonstrate students’ understanding of cell structure, function and composition.

Some students took a particularly creative approach to Colin’s class, constructing their 3D cell models from cake, which was enjoyed by all once assessments were complete.
