Further Information
The Main Lesson
A distinctive feature of Steiner education is the Main Lesson. From Year 1 each morning begins with an extended learning block where students immerse themselves in one area of study over several weeks. This approach encourages deeper understanding, stronger retention and meaningful connections across the curriculum.
The Class Teacher Journey
From Years 1 - 6, students are typically guided by the same Class Teacher, fostering strong relationships and a deep understanding of each child's strengths, learning style and development. This continuity creates a secure learning environment and strong partnerships between school and home.
