Year 5 Drama Main Lesson – Alice in Wonderland

During our Drama Main Lesson (Alice in Wonderland), students explored storytelling through drama, movement, music and performance. They developed their understanding of voice, movement and space while rehearsing and presenting the play. The experience strengthened students’ confidence, expressive speaking, cooperation and ability to bring a shared story vividly to life.
During our Fractions Main Lesson, students explored fractions through drawing, practical activities, fraction bars, grids and number lines. They learned to recognise equivalent fractions, compare and order fractions, and add and subtract fractions with related denominators. Students were encouraged to explain their strategies, represent their thinking visually and apply their understanding to creative problem-solving tasks.
