Cheese!
We are very excited to be offering two hands-on cheese making workshops, in conjunction with fantastic artisan cheese makers YesCheese! The workshops will take place in our fabulous Home Economics / Kitchen facility on Saturday 22 August. Our workshops are hands-on, as we believe that the best way to learn is by doing. There are two workshops available - come along to just one, or take the day and do both!

Express Cheese Workshop:
At the conclusion of the class, students will take home marinated labne, a cream cheese ball, a mascarpone dessert and a set of comprehensive, easy-to-follow notes. The workshop runs from 10am - 11.30am.

Haloumi and Mozzarella Workshop:
This workshop includes home made cheese tastings and a cheese-based dessert and runs from 1pm - 5pm.
At the conclusion of the class students will take home their own home made Haloumi, Bocconcini Mozzarella, Lemon Cheese and a set of comprehensive, easy-to-follow notes.

Beginners' Blacksmithing Workshop
Have you ever wanted to try your hand at the traditional art of Blacksmithing? Well here is your chance! 

We are very excited to present a one-day Beginners' Blacksmithing Workshop, with expert tuition by Elliott Franklin-Brown from the Rutledge St Forge. During this workshop you will learn about different forge design, hammering techniques, tongs and tools, as well as a variety of blacksmithing skills including drawing steel into a taper, fullering, slitting and twisting steel.
By the end of the day participants will have made several S-hooks, leaf hooks and - if time permits - a pot rack or hanging rack.
